Old Kids TV Shows

So there was a big talk on the server about all the old TV shows we remember from when we were younger, figured should just make a forum topic about it.

Basically added all the ones we mentioned in the conversation, comment on other ones you remember and I'll add them to the poll :D

 

Also never tried out the poll feature on the forum so this could easily go terribly wrong xD

Already see a problem that you can only vote once and not edit your vote, oh well :P

A few of these came to fruition when I was in my 'interim' of changing what I watched, but I definitely watched a lot of cartoons as a kid, like these:

Ed, Edd n Eddy

Dexter's Laboratory

The Powerpuff Girls (Original)

Samurai Jack

Kids Next Door

Scooby Doo (All of 'em repeated on Boomerang)

Some other kids shows that were on when I was a kid:

Basil Brush (although that's been rebooted many many times so don't know if that counts XD)

Power Rangers: Lightspeed Rescue (Too young to see original so this is what I watched)

I think I maybe knew 80% of thos shows, I guess the rest did not make it over to Norway, most of our where dubbed over to my language. but it gives me a lot of nostalgia, here are some TV-shows that I also can remember I'll name a few:

Well, when I was a kid.......back before written history......there was only the Saturday morning cartoons like Bullwinkle and Rocky, Bugs Bunny, and just a bit later on was Space Ghost.  Sigh.....

I didn't get to watch much TV (no cable either) so I know maybe 30% of these, but some extra shows outside this list I remember watching were Pokemon, Yu-gi-oh, Digimon, Goosebumps, and Round the Twist.  As an aside, for some reason I thought Chucky came from Goosebumps, but there's more than one!  Friggin' scary ventriloquist dolls 4evah ...

Great now the Postman Pat theme is stuck in my head.

edit: A show that was on every morning at 7:15 am, for at least 9 years in a row, was Bananas in Pajamas. No idea how many episodes they made but seeing how low effort the entire show was I'm guessing a couple of hundred. God awful either way, and I can admit I'm scarred for life since those days. At least by the time The teletubbies came to Swedish tv I was far too old to be watching it.

...I'm pretty sure mid-90s Nickelodeon was my third parent.

the ones already mentioned, ren and stimpy, amazing, me and my little brother discovered this when it was on late on channel 4, same as monty python.. probably scarred us a bit, knightmare, man i always wanted to go on that show.

 

obviously the 80's cartoon classics, he-man, visionaries, thundercats, cities of gold, jayce and the wheeled warriors, teenage mutant hero turtles (because ninja wasnt allowed in the title in the uk, haha), transformers, the muppet babies, duck tales, dungeons and dragons, teddy ruxspin, superted... if any of the older people can remember the name of the cartoon that had 3 guys, 1 blue, 1 green 1 yellow and they had lego bits on them and had a starbase they protected the planet from, the green guy had a dog. many more i can't think of. man the 80's had some cool stuff
